Seattle Greens Hold First Annual Rummage Sale

Fundraising Rummage Sale a success.
The Green Party of Seattle held it's First Annual Rummage Sale on Saturday, August 13th at the University Height Center in the University District.
The sale was a success, selling hundreds of dollars of merchandise donated by local Greens and their friends, several new voters were registered and we gathered pages of signatures to secure ballot access for our candidate.
We had the opportunity to speak with many Seattle residents, many of whom were getting their first taste of Green politics.
Many who came, came to the University District Farmer's Market, being held just outside the Center. People had the opportunity to speak with Green candidate for County Executive, Gentry Lange about his campaign and his support for genuine voting reform. Others came to talk about the Green Party's endorsement of the Opt-Out counter recruitment movement or to learn the Green perspective on the issues most important to them.
